Certification

The goal of the total training program is to bring students to the level of certified coach in the Self Knowledge Method. SKM is based on the self-confrontation method from valuation theory of Professor H.J.M. Hermans (www.socsci.kun.nl/~hermans), combined with the empowerment model of D. Gershon and G.Straub (www.empowermenttraining.com)

Upon completion of the SKM basic training, students are:
  • Able to work independently with clients, within a SKM supervision and inter-vision framework.
  • Eligible for membership in SKM practitioners network and
  • Get visibility on the VvZB website.


Graduation from the complete R&A SKM training program means:

  • Being registered, with the right to use the registered label of ZKM® Coach.
  • License for use of SKM computer software (with automatic up-dates)
  • Certification is mentioned on the VvZB Association web-site.
  • You become a member of the SKM national and international network with the possibility of intervision (peer coaching).
  • You have a recognized preparation for Ph.D. research in self-narrative theory. (Dialogical Science)
